Hi! I'm Susanna. Wife of one, mum of two, owner and crazy flower lady behind One Small Seed Flower Farm. After a fourteen year career in the local food industry, I took the plunge and poured my passion for flowers and business into building a flower farm that offers truly seasonal and sustainable flowers.
Back in 2020, I started experimenting in our garden and it wasn't long before I realised I LOVE growing armfuls of flowers, more than I'd ever imagined possible ... I'd been bitten by the flower growing bug and was determined to start growing on scale. Fast forward 3 years and heading out to the field every day, it couldn't be further from my old day-to-day ... The stiletto heels have been well and truly hung up and replaced with wellies and overalls; the laptop and conference calls for soil and fresh air ... but that's what I love about it.
You'll often see my (long suffering) husband or children Anna and Marshall getting involved in the work too, One Small Seed has been a labour of love for our family.
Our Mission is simple; to spread joy through locally grown flowers; bringing truly seasonal, specialty varieties to the local community without having to compromise our planet.
